Blake was a boy from the bright yellow pastures of El Monte, Los Angeles. Raised by his divorced parents, Blake saw the best of both good and bad worlds. Traveling to South Orange County, reminded him that there is more then the bars on his windows. Living in LA let him know that life came equipped with struggles. So with supreme balances, thoughts of greatness were never out of reach. Raw Blake started performing at his high school in El Monte (Arroyo High School) during lunchtime every Friday during “Freestyle Fridays.” One thing led to another and he realized he wasn’t your average rapper. Then the sudden move to San Clemente mixed things up and music was off his mind, since their wasn’t really a scene for that kind of thing in Orange County. He started becoming a full time surfer and started living life to the fullest. We all came to know that music was in his heart and he needed to re-introduce himself. He moved to Hollywood, right off the Sunset strip and began Audio Engineering School at Los Angeles Recording School. At the school he touched the depths of studio recording, live sound, and a whole array of other techniques. At school he collaborated with various artists and performed at a couple venues; “Skinny’s Lounge”, “Coconuts”, and a few other venues where he would spit freestyle or two at a rock concert. His passion for the music was on fire and beats were popping in his headphones that would bang for days. After his Hollywood hiatus, Blake found himself on a plane to Bali, Indonesia to get away and write some sweet tunes. He sure as hell found his groove because after a couple months of escaping he jumped right back on the scene. Things became more organized and he recorded his demo CD, brought a new image to hip hop/ rap, and a new style that blows people away. Born again and introducing Raw Blake
